A few things you'll want to know about:

Idea Review

  • A rejected idea remains the property of the person who had the idea, it can be polished and resubmitted if it has legs.
  • An accepted idea becomes the intellectual property of the Salt Mine Syndicate. If someone wants their idea back they can submit an official request, but it is up The Syndicate to decide to grant the request. Ideas that already have a team assigned generally will not be released.

Syndicate Build Process

  • We are all about building efficiencies. We have a standard build process that we are always refining. We require all members of The Syndicate to follow this process so we can all do what we're good at (which probably isn't reinventing wheels).
  • The final step in the build process is a review by The Syndicate Sentinels. All apps shipped will meet standards of design, development and a whole bunch of other stuff, you can call it our 16-point inspection or whatever. A Salt Mine Syndicate product will only ship if it meets the quality standard we believe in.
